Literacy Statistics in Canada to Remain Unchanged Through to 2031

Canadian adults with low literacy skills will remain virtually unchanged through to 2031. Although there will be many more adults with a university degree in 2031, many more degree-holders will have low literacy skills. (This is likely because these projections include all ages-not just recent graduates-and reflect "skills loss" that can occur later in life.)
